Fellowship


Spending time abroad is a great opportunity to broaden your horizons. It also looks good on your resume. However, it must be planned well in advance and be appropriate for your stage of training. Please also note any restrictions in the respective country, where you may first have to apply for recognition of your medical degree, or even take an exam. SGC presentation


Depending on the clinic and level of training, an SGC presentation is desirable. Discuss this with your clinic in good time and submit an abstract for the next SGC congress. Please note that the deadline for submissions is usually in January.

Habilitation


If you have a long-term interest in scientific work, you should consider pursuing a postdoctoral qualification. This should be discussed with your tutor so that you can receive support at an early stage. Attached is an interesting older “Swiss Knife article” from 2012.
